30hop Restaurant & Bar in Coralville, IA is hiring Cooks to join our kitchen team. We’re looking for dependable, motivated people who enjoy working with food and being part of a busy restaurant kitchen. Depending on your experience and interests, you may work in food preparation, on the line during service, or across multiple areas of the kitchen. Previous kitchen experience is helpful, but we’re also open to candidates who are ready to learn, work hard, and develop their skills alongside an experienced team. 30hop is a full-service American restaurant and bar with locations across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. Pay $16 - $22 per hour based on experience. Schedule & Availability Full-time and part-time opportunities available Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts may be available Weekend availability is preferred Scheduling is based on restaurant needs and individual availability Full-Time Benefits Available to employees averaging 30 hours per week or more: Paid Time Off beginning at two weeks annually, with additional PTO opportunities based on tenure Medical insurance options with 30hop Group covering 50% of employee premiums Dental and vision coverage options 401(k) plan with discretionary employer match for eligible employees Benefits for All Team Members 25% dining discount for you and up to seven guests Employee Assistance Program with free counseling sessions Craft Concepts restaurant discounts throughout Iowa, Omaha, Kansas City, and Missouri Employee appreciation events and celebrations What You’ll Do Prepare ingredients and recipes for daily service Set up and maintain a stocked, organized workstation Prepare menu items using grills, fryers, sauté stations, broilers, and other kitchen equipment Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and established quality standards Rotate, label, store, and handle food properly Maintain a clean and organized kitchen throughout the shift Complete cleaning, stocking, inventory, and food-storage tasks as assigned Communicate with kitchen leaders and other team members during service Assist with both prep and line responsibilities based on the needs of the kitchen Complete other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For Must be 18 years of age or older Restaurant, line cook, or prep cook experience is preferred but not required Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team Good communication and organizational skills Willingness to learn and take direction Ability to stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds *30hop Restaurant & Bar is an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr 30hop, LLC
