Field Day Brewing Co. in North Liberty, IA is hiring Line Cooks to join our kitchen team.

If you enjoy staying busy, working alongside a team, and preparing great food in a fast-paced kitchen, we’d like to hear from you. Our Line Cooks play an important role in preparing and executing menu items while keeping the kitchen organized and service running smoothly.

Field Day Brewing Co. is a locally rooted restaurant and brewery in North Liberty, built around great food, exceptional beer, and genuine hospitality. Our full-service menu is prepared on-site, and we’re proud to create a fun, welcoming environment for our guests, our team, and the community we call home.

Pay

$15 - $22 per hour based on experience.

Schedule & Availability

• Part-time opportunities available
• Sunday evening availability is required

What You’ll Do

• Set up your station with the ingredients, equipment, and supplies needed for service
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and established standards
• Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining food quality and consistency
• Complete prep work and prepare ingredients as needed
• Follow portioning, plating, and presentation standards
• Properly label, rotate, store, and handle food
• Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift
• Keep your station and surrounding kitchen areas clean and organized
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
• Communicate with kitchen leadership and teammates to keep service running smoothly
• Support kitchen operations wherever needed
• Complete other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience is preferred
• Ability to stay productive in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable and attentive to detail
• Willingness to learn and contribute wherever needed
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, Sundays, and holidays as scheduled
• Ability to stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds
