Automotive Biller / Title Clerk

Location: Ray Catena Lexus of Larchmont Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview Ray Catena Lexus of Larchmont is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Automotive Biller / Title Clerk to join our accounting and administrative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dealership billing and title processing, exceptional organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of automotive dealership operations.

Reynolds & Reynolds experience is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of automotive dealership billing and title clerk experience.

Responsibilities

• Process new and used vehicle deals accurately and efficiently.
• Verify deal paperwork for completeness and compliance.
• Prepare and submit title and registration documents to appropriate state agencies.
• Process vehicle registrations, transfers, and lien recordings.
• Ensure all vehicle sales transactions are billed correctly.
• Reconcile schedules and maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory and sales.
• Communicate with sales, finance, accounting departments, and DMV offices regarding transaction status.
• Track outstanding titles and resolve title discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and dealership policies and procedures.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and accounting support as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of automotive dealership billing and title clerk experience.
• Required proficiency in Reynolds & Reynolds dealership management system.
• Strong knowledge of DMV regulations, title processing, and registration procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dealership environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
• Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Luxury automotive dealership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of New York DMV procedures and regulations.
• Accounting or administrative experience within an automotive dealership environment.

Benefits

• Salary range: $55,000 $65,000 annually, based on experience
