2+ years of employment experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

License:
Active North Carolina RN license (or willingness to obtain)

Certifications:
Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)

Must-Have:
- Master's Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing
- Current APRN National Specialty Certification
- 2+ years of employment experience as a NNP

Job Description:
- Leadership role in a new 10-bed LDRP Level-I Nursery
- Responsible for daily rounds, attending deliveries, and on-call duties
- Stabilize, manage, and facilitate transport of newborns to higher-level NICUs if needed
- Work collaboratively with a team of NNPs and Neonatologists
- Opportunities for supplemental PRN shifts at a Level III NICU may be possible
