Support the Nurse Manager in operational and clinical leadership of the unit/department. Lead and support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. Mentor and coach nursing team members to foster professional growth and development. Embrace the principles of a High Reliability Organization and actively participate in safety habits, safety huddles, leader connections, and follow-up. Monitor and manage unit resources, including staffing and budget considerations. Communicate effectively with patients, families, visitors, physicians, and the healthcare team. Education Minimum Requirements Graduated from an accredited Nursing Diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, or higher. Licensure Current unrestricted RN license required. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, CPI) may be required based on unit specialty. Experience Two to three years of clinical nursing experience. Specialty experience may be required based on unit/department (e.g., OR, ICU, ED). Preferred Requirements Previous leadership or charge nurse experience preferred. BSN preferred Pay Range $43.40 - $59.68 Other Information Position: 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week.
