Mechanical Engineer

My client is an innovative consumer hardware company developing next-generation health and wellness devices. They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced product development from concept through production. Key Responsibilities: Design and build complex electromechanical systems including plastic, metal and softgoods components Drive design across entire product lifecycle including conception, CAD, prototyping, testing and ramp Integrate novel sensors and actuators Perform analysis and testing including thermal, fluid, and structural analysis. Requirements: Experience shipping at least one high volume consumer product Strong proficiency in 3D modeling and simulation tools (e.g. Solidworks, NX, Creo) Consumer product design experience with knowledge of injection molding, sheet metal forming, soft goods, and electromechanical systems Strong first-principles problem solving and understanding of root cause analysis, DOEs, and other quality measuring techniques Experience working with external suppliers and willingness to travel to China as needed To Stand out: Tell us what you've built How do you break down complex electromechanical problems into simple solutions? #J-18808-Ljbffr Lumicity
