Director of Data Engineering

Leading the strategic vision for enterprise data engineering and business applications, the full-time Director of Data Engineering will manage the architecture and lifecycle of data pipelines and application systems while collaborating with cross-functional leaders in a remote work environment. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the strategic roadmap for enterprise data engineering, including data pipelines and integration frameworks Oversee the lifecycle management of business applications, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with business goals Lead and develop a high-performing team of data engineers and application specialists, establishing engineering standards and performance metrics Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred Minimum of 10+ years of experience in data engineering or enterprise application management, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role Demonstrated experience with large-scale data platforms using modern cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS Proven track record managing enterprise business application portfolios and leading modernization initiatives Relevant certifications in cloud data platforms or data engineering preferred
