Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Certified CRNA in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina for locum tenens coverage supporting an established anesthesia team. This role focuses on OR anesthesia coverage with labor and delivery epidural support in an inpatient setting.

Opportunity Details

• Location: Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
• Setting: Inpatient hospital anesthesia coverage
• Scheduled Coverage:
  • July 7 through July 10
  • July 27 through August 3
  • August 10 through August 14
  • August 24

Schedule Details

• Weekday Hours: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
• Call: 3:00 PM–7:00 AM (one night of call)
• Weekend Call: Shared 1:5 with weekend coverage every 5th weekend

Clinical Scope

• Provide anesthesia services for surgical cases
• Perform epidural placement, including labor epidurals
• Place spinals/ITN in obese patients
• Support pediatric patients
• Provide occasional moderate procedural sedation in the ER
• Use EPIC EHR for documentation and order entry

Practice Environment

• Hospital anesthesia coverage with an established CRNA team
• EPIC EHR environment
• OR coverage supported by a daily MDA presence

Requirements

• Active North Carolina CRNA license
• Board-Certified CRNA
• BLS and ACLS
• Proficiency with epidural placement
• Experience with labor epidurals and spinals/ITN in obese patients
• Comfort with pediatric patients
• EPIC EHR experience preferred
