Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. Our staff consists of locals, transplants, seasonal workers from all 50 states and international students from around the globe. We are a diverse workforce where everyone feels welcome, appreciated, and valued. No matter if you are 14 or 84 years, there is a place for you in the Deer Valley family! (Last year over 1,100 staff members celebrated their fifth season or more at Deer Valley).

PURPOSE OF POSITION: A Cook II is responsible for assisting the Sous Chef with preparation and presentation of daily menus, restocking, and serving selections at stations where lines develop during peak hours.

**You will be supporting one of several restaurant locations**

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cook dishes according to recipes and develop new food selections in conjunction with the sous chef and executive chef
Keep service lines clean, change pans as needed, and ensure food selections are well-stocked and appropriately garnished
Ensure mise- en -place is in sufficient quantities for the day's requirements
Properly store and rotate food to ensure freshness and avoid waste
Completed daily inventories
Assist servers during busy times
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous cooking experience required
Able to stand for long periods of time and lift and carry 25 50 lbs.

Pay: $22.50 per hour
