We are looking for individuals who are confident that they will become an integral member of a team that values hard work and brings detail and care to every part of their work day.Follow recipes, portion controls, pars, and presentation specifics as set by kitchen managementSet up work station according to established expectationsExecute prep tasks from start to finish.Work collaboratively with BOH staff and FOH staffMaintain cleanliness of all BOH work areas, including and not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areasParticipate in deep cleaning of BOH work areas, including and not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areasRestock items as needed throughout the shiftFollow set schedule and give appropriate notification for tardiness and absenceConform to Department of Health requirements to run an A-level kitchenQualificationsMinimum of two years Culinary experienceAble to communicate in EnglishAble to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.Prior experience in a luxury hotel preferredGeneral knife handling, food safety & sanitation knowledgeBasic understanding of professional cookingComfortable working in a fast paced and high energy environmentHigh volume restaurant experience preferredAble to take constructive criticism, learn quickly and constantly improveAble to follow recipes without direct supervisionAble to communicate clearly and professionally with colleaguesStrong time management skills and able to execute dishes consistently and effectivelyStrong desire to learn and grow is a MUST!Full availability (including weekends)Job Location
