Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Operating Room (OR) Open Heart Nurse specializing in cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries is needed at the facility. This role involves providing advanced perioperative care for complex cardiac and transplant procedures, primarily working scheduled shifts with potential call responsibilities. Job Details Position: Operating Room (OR) Open Heart Nurse Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 09/28/2026 and ending 12/28/2026 Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in the state of practice, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), at least 2 years of clinical experience in a cardiovascular OR environment, scrub experience in cardiac and thoracic cases, circulating experience, proficiency with Epic charting system, experience with complex surgical procedures such as coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), organ transplant, and vascular surgeries. Preferred Qualifications: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) degree, minimum 2 years of trauma level I experience, scrub and circulate experience in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries, experience with transplant procedures Additional Information: Will float within service line as needed, with no call for night shifts. Candidates must have sufficient scrub experience and relevant transplant experience. Must adhere to hospital and travel compliance policies, including licensure and certification requirements.
