Heritage Grove Estates is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records/Health Information Coordinator to oversee resident medical records and health information systems. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, security, and confidentiality of resident health information while maintaining compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal regulations.

• Maintain, organize, and audit resident medical records for accuracy and completeness.

• Manage electronic health record (EHR) documentation and resident demographic information.

• Process authorized requests and releases of medical records in compliance with HIPAA requirements.

• Ensure proper chart setup, filing, coding, indexing, and record retention practices.

• Track physician certifications and required documentation for skilled nursing services.

• Collaborate with clinical teams, consultants, and admissions staff to support regulatory and reimbursement requirements.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and healthcare documentation practices.

• Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity.

• Healthcare, medical records, or long-term care experience preferred.
