Litigation Associate

The Miami office of Squire Patton Boggs seeks a junior to mid‑level Litigation Associate with strong Spanish language fluency. The role includes working on domestic and international litigation with frequent exposure to Spanish language documents. Responsibilities Legal research and drafting of legal documents Conducting discovery and coordinating with local counsel Defending against litigation and supporting client advocacy Managing the various aspects of a commercial lawsuit from start to finish (for more senior candidates) Prioritizing workload, exercising good judgment, and working well under pressure Qualifications 1–5 years of experience at a top‑tier firm and/or judicial clerkship Admission to the Florida Bar JD from an accredited law school and a strong academic record Excellent credentials, research, and organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication abilities Spanish language fluency (substantial plus) Experience with courtroom and deposition preferred but not required More senior candidates: substantial experience managing commercial lawsuits end‑to‑end More junior candidates: exceptional academic record Self‑starter, ability to prioritize workload, and ability to work well under pressure Equal Opportunity Employment Squire Patton Boggs is an Equal Opportunity employer.
