BartenderThe Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service while creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for hotel guests. This role prepares and serves a diverse selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, provides outstanding customer service, maintains bar operations, and ensures compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service regulations. The Bartender plays a key role in enhancing the overall guest experience by delivering prompt, professional, and personalized service in a fast-paced, full-service hotel environment.Pay range: $23-31 per hourMedical, dental, vision insurance401(k) with company matchingComplimentary Employee MealsExclusive worldwide Hilton employee travel discount program... and morePrepare, mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes, brand standards, and responsible alcohol service practicesDeliver exceptional guest service by providing prompt, courteous, and personalized beverage and food service while fostering a welcoming atmosphereAccurately receive, prepare, and process beverage and food orders from guests and service staff in a high-volume environmentRecommend beverages and menu items, utilizing product knowledge to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunitiesVerify guest identification and ensure compliance with all applicable liquor laws, responsible alcohol service regulations, and company policiesProcess cash, credit card, and room charge transactions accurately, maintaining accountability for all financial activitiesMaintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar, equipment, glassware, workstations, and guest areas in accordance with health and safety standardsPrepare and replenish garnishes, mixers, beverages, and bar supplies to ensure operational readiness throughout serviceMonitor inventory levels, assist with stock rotation and inventory counts, and communicate replenishment needs to managementContribute to beverage menu development, seasonal promotions, and specialty cocktail offerings as directedMonitor guest alcohol consumption and professionally address situations involving intoxicated or disruptive guests in accordance with hotel policiesCollaborate with culinary, restaurant, banquet, and hotel operations teams to ensure efficient service delivery and exceptional guest experienceComply with all hotel policies, food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and quality assurance standardsPerform other duties as assigned by ManagementHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 2-3 years of bartending experience in a hotel, restaurant, resort, or other high-volume hospitality environment preferredPrevious experience using a point-of-sale (POS) system and handling cash transactions preferredStrong knowledge of beverage preparation, mixology, wines, beers, spirits, and responsible alcohol service practicesExcellent guest service, interpersonal, and communication skillsAbility to work efficiently and maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills with attention to detailAbility to accurately process transactions and maintain cash handling accountabilityAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team while demonstrating professionalism and initiativeKnowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulationsWork schedules are based on the operational needs of the business. Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required for this position.Fast-paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint. Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, and twist in the work area. The role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 250lbs. often for extended periods. Must be able to maneuver around property. Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to operate a computer, telephone, and copier. Must have manual dexterity to operate all office equipment. May include exposure to high levels of ambient noise for prolonged periods, must be able to perform essential job functions effectively in such conditions.All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
