About the Job

Bultum Academy is a charter school located in Columbia Heights serving students in grades  PreK–8 . We are entering our second year and are looking for a dedicated and passionate  Middle School Science Teacher to join our growing team. Our class sizes range from 15–25 students , allowing teachers to build strong relationships and provide individualized support.

The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, promote critical thinking, and help students develop a strong foundation in science aligned with Minnesota Academic Standards.

We have a supportive administrative team, including our  Executive Director, Assistant Director, and Instructional Coach , who are committed to helping teachers succeed and grow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based science lessons.
• Create a safe, positive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Assess and monitor student progress using a variety of instructional strategies.
• Collaborate with the Instructional Coach and other staff members to improve instruction.
• Maintain regular communication with families regarding student progress.
• Participate in professional development and school-wide activities.
