A long-term substitute Special Education Teacher is needed for a full-time assignment starting as soon as possible and continuing through November. Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification required
• Experience working with upper elementary grades (preferred)
• Strong skills in differentiated instruction and classroom management
• Ability to adapt quickly and build rapport with students and staff
• Previous experience in a push-in/resource or inclusion setting helpful
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction and interventions to 5th-grade students in both push-in and resource support models
• Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt lessons and provide accommodations
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and monitor progress
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere
• Engage with parents and staff to keep them informed of student progress
• Maintain documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
