The candidate must be able to travel within sites during the workday. Job Summary The Family Partnership is hiring a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to provide quality evidence-based pediatric therapy services within the scope of Speech Language Pathology standards of practice. Responsibilities will include the following: Selecting, administering, scoring, interpreting, and documenting appropriate standardized pediatric assessments. Documenting plans of care and daily progress in a timely and suitable manner in accordance with ASHA, DHS, and MDH guidelines. Managing and maintaining physician orders to keep all clients current. Submitting daily billing and progress notes through the EMR system. Consulting and collaborating with inter-disciplinary staff and parents. Discharging clients when they exit the program or meet maximal therapeutic potential. Who You Are You are licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Minnesota. You graduated from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program with a master’s degree or higher. You have at least 2 years of pediatric experience, or you demonstrate equivalent knowledge through alternative study or life experience. You are comfortable working with at-risk clients, clients who have experienced trauma, clients from diverse cultures and ethnicities, and clients from non-English speaking households. You are currently certified in CPR and First Aid (preferred). You have strong communication and organizational skills. You are flexible and adaptable. You maintain membership with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). You have a valid driver’s license, access to reliable transportation, and the ability to meet TFP’s driving record requirements.
