Quality Assurance InspectorLocation: Elgin, ILEmployment Type: Full-Time or Part-TimeWe're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector with hands-on experience in the stamping industry to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about quality assurance and continuous improvement.Quality Inspector Stamping IndustryKey Responsibilities:Conduct dimensional layouts and inspections of stamped componentsManage and support PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation and submissionsAssist with inventory control and stock auditsParticipate in training initiatives for new hires and team membersCollaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issuesMaintain accurate inspection records and ensure compliance with customer specificationsQualifications:Prior experience in metal stamping or related manufacturing processesStrong understanding of PPAP, dimensional verification, and quality core tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA)Familiarity with ISO/IATF 16949 standards is a plusAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsExcellent communication and organizational skillsComfortable working independently and as part of a teamPerks:Flexible schedule (full-time or part-time)Opportunity to grow within a quality-focused organizationSupportive team environment
