Driver Recruiter

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Driver Recruiter will manage the recruitment and selection process for qualified drivers, making pre-approval decisions and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations while utilizing effective communication and sales techniques to enhance candidate engagement. Key responsibilities: Conduct initial conversations with potential drivers to gather qualification information and make real-time pre-approval decisions Utilize independent judgment to assess and determine the approval, pass, or rejection of driver applications from various submission channels Provide orientation information to qualified drivers and coordinate transportation and lodging to maximize applicant show rates Required qualifications: Two to three years of experience in recruiting or sales, preferably within the transportation industry A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred One to two years of experience with PC-based systems, particularly Windows Proficiency in recruitment techniques and compliance requirements Strong decision-making abilities and effective multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
