This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location for all scheduled work days.
The Mortgage Coordinator supports final document processing, tracking, and coordination across physical and digital workflows within mortgage operations. This role is responsible for the intake, organization, imaging, and system entry of physical document packages, including preparing documents for scanning, uploading to the document repository (MIR), and ensuring delivery to appropriate custodians. The position also manages shared mailboxes for digital submissions, processing documents in alignment with established procedures and systems.
The Mortgage Coordinator processes a variety of final loan documents, including recorded mortgages, assignments, title policies, and other trailing documentation. The role is accountable for generating and distributing final document tracking reports to internal and external stakeholders, monitoring outstanding items, and supporting fee collection associated with late or missing documents.
Additional responsibilities include providing operational support across teams, assisting with paper-based workflows, and supporting loan opening and closing activities such as handling checks, distributing closing disclosures and trailing documents, and processing returned documentation in accordance with established naming conventions and system requirements.
This position operates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and requires strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills, as well as the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. This is a 100% in-office role with a standard schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or participation in a rotational schedule.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Typically four or more years of clerical experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Good reading, writing and mathematical skills
Thorough knowledge of personal computers and other office equipment
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Well-developed ability to collect and organize information

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
