Occupational Therapy Assistant

Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and be able to work closely with our Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional care to our clients. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for helping others. Responsibilities Assist Occupational Therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for clients Provide direct therapy services to clients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Provides skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care Educate clients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies to promote independence and improve quality of life Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment Requirements Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and strategies for various populations Proficient in electronic medical record documentation Flexibility to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a variety of clinical settings (nursing homes, hospitals, schools, outpatient clinics) Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and continuing education Supportive work environment with a focus on collaboration and teamwork Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of clients and their families #J-18808-Ljbffr
