Accounting Manager

A well-established private organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its growing accounting function. This is an excellent opportunity for a public accounting Senior or Manager interested in transitioning into a client-facing role with greater ownership, visibility, and long-term growth potential. Responsibilities: Manage general ledger accounting and month-end close activities Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP Oversee accounting and reporting for multiple complex entities Complete account reconciliations, cash-flow analysis, and financial reporting Support budgeting, variance analysis, and special projects Coordinate with external tax, audit, and advisory partners Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes Provide oversight and guidance to junior accounting staff Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3–5+ years of public accounting or a combination of public accounting and industry experience Public accounting Seniors ready to take the next step are encouraged to apply Experience with partnerships, high-net-worth clients, private clients, or closely held businesses strongly preferred Strong general ledger, month-end close, and financial statement preparation experience Solid understanding of US GAAP Previous staff supervision, engagement leadership, or work-review experience Polished communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders CPA preferred but not required Sage Intacct experience is a plus Why consider this opportunity?
