Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead and supervise a crew of 10+ electricians and electrical helpers on commercial electrical projects. The ideal candidate is a strong field leader who can manage daily manpower, coordinate installations, maintain production schedules, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a crew of 10+ electricians and helpers.
• Plan daily manpower, assignments, and workflow.
• Read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Supervise commercial electrical installations from start to completion.
• Coordinate work with project managers, general contractors, and other trades.
• Ensure installations meet project specifications, quality standards, and applicable electrical codes.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve field issues.
• Perform and oversee conduit installation, wire pulling, terminations, equipment installation, and electrical rough-in.
• Monitor jobsite productivity and keep projects on schedule.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce company safety policies.
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
• Track materials, tools, and equipment needed to keep the crew productive.
• Train, mentor, and develop electricians and apprentices.
• Communicate project progress, manpower needs, material requirements, and field issues to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial electrical experience.
• Previous experience as an Electrical Foreman, Lead Electrician, or similar leadership role.
• Proven ability to effectively manage a crew of 10+ employees .
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, blueprints, and one-line diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of NEC requirements and electrical safety practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
• Electrical license or applicable state/local certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
