Position Summary

CitiStaff is seeking experienced and dependable Warehouse Leads to oversee day-to-day production activities and provide hands-on leadership to warehouse employees. The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for helping direct an assigned work group, training employees on proper picking and packaging procedures, monitoring productivity and quality, and ensuring daily production goals are met.

This is a hands-on leadership position that requires someone who can lead by example, communicate effectively with employees and management, and help keep warehouse operations running efficiently and safely.

We are currently hiring for 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift, and a Rotating Shift .

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee an assigned group of warehouse/production employees during the designated shift.
• Provide hands-on training to new and existing employees on proper picking, packing, labeling, and packaging procedures .
• Demonstrate proper work processes and ensure employees understand productivity and quality expectations.
• Monitor employee performance, productivity, attendance, and work flow throughout the shift.
• Help ensure daily production goals and deadlines are consistently met.
• Assign work and help prioritize tasks based on production needs.
• Monitor picking and packing accuracy and address errors or quality issues as they arise.
• Assist employees with questions, work processes, and production challenges.
• Communicate production updates, employee concerns, and operational issues to supervisors or management.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Ensure employees follow company safety policies, warehouse procedures, and proper PPE requirements.
• Assist with resolving workflow issues and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Help train employees on proper use of warehouse equipment and procedures, as applicable.
• Provide direction and support during high-volume production periods.
• Help maintain accurate production records and documentation as required.
• Perform hands-on warehouse duties when needed to support the team and maintain production.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or production experience required.
• Previous Lead, Trainer, Coordinator, or Senior Warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with picking and packing operations strongly preferred.
• Ability to train and provide direction to a team of employees.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to monitor productivity and maintain production standards.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move products/materials as required by the position.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Leadership Expectations

The ideal candidate will be a working lead who is comfortable being on the warehouse floor , coaching employees, demonstrating proper procedures, and helping the team stay productive. This individual should be able to hold employees accountable while maintaining a positive and professional working relationship with the team.

Openings are available for:

• 1st Shift Lead
• 2nd Shift Lead
• 3rd Shift Lead
• Rotating Shift Lead

Candidates must be flexible to work the assigned shift and understand that the position is a temporary assignment expected to run through December 2026 .

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to lift and move materials/products as required.
• Ability to work in a warehouse/production environment.
• Ability to safely perform assigned duties while meeting production expectations.
