Position Overview
We are currently in search of a talented and empathetic Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team. You will operate cutting-edge ultrasound machines to conduct diagnostic procedures, working closely with a collaborative group of clinical professionals to ensure patients receive precise and compassionate care.
Responsibilities on Your Journey
- Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound evaluations including abdomen, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts studies
- Guarantee patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, ensuring that explanations are clear and provided with empathy
- Engage with radiologists and referring physicians to generate top-quality diagnostic outputs
- Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any operational issues
- Document procedures accurately and manage patient data in the electronic medical record system
- Remain informed about advancements in ultrasound technologies and methodologies
Education Requirements
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Preference for candidates who have completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
Certifications Required
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
- Preferred BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
