Overview Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Rheumatology Location: Chicago, Illinois and Evanston, Illinois Organization: Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group Hospitals: St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital and St. Francis Hospital Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview: Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing Rheumatology team at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital and St. Francis Hospital. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive new patient evaluations and develop evidence‑based treatment plans. Perform joint aspirations/injections, interpret imaging, and order appropriate lab monitoring. Initiate and titrate DMARDs, biologics, and small‑molecule therapies. Educate patients on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and infusion protocols. Collaborate with referring PCPs, orthopedists, and pain management specialists. Qualifications Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Illinois. Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Minimum of 1–2 years of NP experience, preferably in a Rheumatology or internal medicine setting. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑based environment. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $120,000-$130,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
