Litigation Associate (3+ Years) | Orange County (Tustin Area)

A well-established, education-focused law firm in Orange County is seeking a Litigation Associate (3+ years) to join its growing practice.

This role offers a diverse litigation platform with exposure to employment, education, and governance matters—paired with a flexible billable model and strong bonus upside.

Compensation

• Base salary: $150,000 – $200,000 (depending on experience)
• Bonus: Quarterly bonus tied to collected hours above a set threshold, with strong per-hour upside

• Broad, hands-on litigation experience across multiple subject areas
• Flexible billable expectation (most attorneys ~1,600 hours)
• Hybrid flexibility after onboarding (1–2 days/week remote)

Key Responsibilities (experience in 3+ preferred)

• Litigation, mediation, and arbitration in state/federal courts and administrative forums
• Employment counseling, workplace investigations, and ADA compliance
• Education law matters, including IEPs, Section 504, and student-related issues (FERPA, First Amendment, discipline)
• Advice on operations, facilities, real estate, and energy matters
• Labor relations and collective bargaining support
• Bond counsel work for public financing and capital projects

Requirements

• 3+ years of litigation experience
• Active California Bar
