Role Description The Mental Health Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Jacksonville, FL. Part-time and hybrid options are available for the right applicant. The therapist will provide individual adult therapy using evidence-based modalities, maintaining a compassionate and affirming stance. Marriage/relationship counseling, sex therapy, family therapy, play therapy, and group therapy are options at therapist's discretion. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, developing and updating treatment plans, coordinating care with other providers, and maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation. The role involves supporting clients with a wide range of mental health concerns, collaborating with colleagues in case consultation, and participating in team meetings and trainings. The therapist will also contribute to a safe, inclusive environment that honors each client’s identity, background, and family structure. Qualifications Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive, and LGBTQIA+ affirming practice. Experience utilizing a neurodivergent-affirming approach. Strong clinical foundations in Mental Health or Social Work, with the ability to provide affirming, trauma-informed care. Skills working with diverse family structures and relationship constellations. Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field; appropriate state licensure (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) in Florida. Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to manage a full-time caseload on-site. Experience with evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, systemic or relational therapies) is highly beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
