Broward Health Imperial PointShift: Shift 1FTE: 0.750000Summary:Provides leadership in collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer to facilitate optimal utilization of resources at BHMC. Promotes understanding and cooperation between the physicians and Hospital through communication, collaboration, and education. Facilitates improvements in clinical practice to achieve better performance, improved cost, reduced length of stay, fewer readmissions, and superior patient care. Assists Administration in reducing financial risks associated with denials that are due to providing medically unnecessary or preventative services and extended length of stays.Education:M.D. or D.O. required.MBA, MPH, MHA, or similar management degree preferred.Experience:5 years or more of related experience.Credentials:Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida (Medical Doctor license).ABQAURP or similar certification preferred.Knowledge of InterQual, Milliman, and similar guidelines.
