Surgical Technologist – Neuro – Peoria, IL
Direct Hire | Full-Time | Day Shift

Surgical Technologists specializing in Neurosurgery play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care in a fast-paced acute care setting. Working alongside neurosurgeons, registered nurses, and anesthesia providers, you will prepare operating rooms, maintain sterile technique, organize specialized surgical instruments and equipment, and provide intraoperative support during complex neurological procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and surgical excellence.

Position Overview

• Permanent, full-time role
• Acute care setting
• Day shift
• 4 10-hour shifts per week
• Dedicated Neuro Surgery team

Compensation & Incentives

• Salary range: $27.26 – $38.48/hour
• $15,000 sign-on bonus with a 2-year work commitment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Minimum of 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience in Neurosurgery or an acute care operating room
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and operating room procedures
• Experience assisting with complex neurosurgical procedures and specialized instrumentation
• Ability to anticipate surgeon and procedural needs in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and assist with up to 100 lbs
