About the Position

Locums Critical Care Nurse Practitioner in Peoria, Illinois - High Acuity ICU, Flexible Blocks

Work in a high-acuity ICU environment with recurring PRN coverage opportunities and exposure to complex critical care patients. Ideal for experienced Critical Care Nurse Practitioners seeking block scheduling flexibility.

Practice & Cases:

• Neuro, Cardiac, and Medical ICU step-down coverage
• Manage approximately 10-15 patients per shift
• Central and arterial line placement required
• Care for ECMO, VAD, transplant, neurocritical care, and cardiovascular surgery patients

Schedule:

• Night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• Flexible PRN scheduling opportunities
• Minimum of 4 consecutive shifts per month required
• No call responsibilities

Requirements:

• Must be a Nurse Practitioner
• Active Illinois license required
• Board certification required
• BLS and DEA required

Logistics:

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are covered
• Travel accommodations provided for assignment coverage
