Plumbing Estimator

Peregrine Team is searching for an experienced  Plumbing Estimator to support plumbing operations in San Diego. This role is responsible for evaluating service calls and project needs in the field, preparing accurate estimates, coordinating with technicians and customers, and helping ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong plumbing field experience and the ability to balance estimating, field supervision, troubleshooting, and customer communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate plumbing service calls and job sites to determine scope of work, labor, and material needs.
• Prepare accurate estimates and job recommendations based on field conditions and customer requests.
• Support scheduling and coordination with field technicians, office staff, and customers.
• Visit job sites to inspect conditions, confirm work requirements, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Provide hands-on field support and help ensure work is completed properly and on schedule.
• Provide field supervision and support to technicians as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
• Communicate clearly with plumbing leadership regarding job status, concerns, and project updates.
• Assist with resolving field issues, changing conditions, and service-related challenges.
• Maintain professionalism while representing the company in the field.
• Follow company procedures, safety expectations, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to estimates, job conditions, materials, and project requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous plumbing field experience required.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, service work, and field operations.
• Ability to assess jobs in the field and prepare accurate estimates.
• Must have basic plumbing tools.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and support both service and estimating functions.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable in the plumbing trade.
• Experience supervising or coordinating field technicians is a plus.
• Experience working in the San Diego area is a plus.
