Desired Skills & Experience:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (Minnesota)
• Experience in pediatric care or nursing within a school environment preferred
• Proficiency in conducting health assessments, managing chronic conditions, and handling emergencies
• Strong communication skills to interact with students, staff, and families
• Knowledge of state and federal health regulations as they apply to school settings
• Ability to maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Familiarity with individualized health care plans (IHPs) and Section 504/IEP processes a plus

Core Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, provide first aid, and manage minor injuries or sudden illnesses according to protocol
• Develop and implement care plans for students with chronic health issues or special needs
• Serve as a resource for health education to students and staff
• Monitor immunization records and ensure compliance with state requirements
• Act as liaison between families, healthcare providers, and the school to coordinate care
• Respond quickly and appropriately to medical emergencies

Compensation for this position ranges from $17.00 to $58.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
