What We Are Looking For:

Valid and unrestricted RN license in Minnesota
Previous nursing experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Familiarity with IEP and 504 processes a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and multitask effectively
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care and first aid to students and staff during school hours
Monitor and manage chronic health conditions, including medication administration and care plans
Maintain accurate health records for compliance and confidentiality
Provide emergency interventions and collaborate with local medical services when needed
Participate in developing and implementing individualized health plans and IEPs
Educate students and staff on wellness, hygiene, and safety practices
Communicate clearly with parents, teachers, and leadership regarding student health concerns
