Afternoon Store Associate
Full Time • Owosso, MI Currently hiring for afternoon and evening shifts with consistent weekly scheduling available . Consistent afternoon and evening scheduling available for qualified candidates.

About the Role
Hometown Markets is hiring Afternoon Store Associates to support store operations during busy afternoon and evening hours. This role focuses on customer service, stocking, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and assist customers. 
• Operate the register and handle transactions. 
• Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise. 
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization. 
• Assist with food and beverage areas as needed. 
• Communicate issues to management as needed. 

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable and dependable attendance. 
• Strong customer service skills. 
• Ability to remain active throughout the shift. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required. 
• Ability to perform the essential job functions of this role with or without reasonable accommodation, including standing, walking, and physical tasks throughout the duration of the shift.

Schedule

• Afternoon/evening shifts (2:00 PM–10:00 PM or 3:00 PM–11:00 PM). 
• Consistent scheduling available. 
• Weekend and holiday availability may be required based on business needs.

Work Environment
This role requires standing, walking, stocking merchandise, and general cleaning throughout the shift.
