Culinary Position
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute dishes according to recipes and standards set by the Executive Chef.
- Assist in the preparation of mise en place, including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and preparing sauces.
- Cook and plate dishes with attention to detail, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, rotating stock, and maintaining inventory levels.
- Flexibility to work various stations in the kitchen, including grill, saut, pasta, and garde manger.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a line cook or culinary assistant in a restaurant setting is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Passion for Italian cuisine and eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure during busy service periods.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to take direction from the culinary leadership team and execute tasks with precision.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
