What you’ll bring:
- Valid teaching certification in General Education and/or ESL/ELL instruction
- Classroom experience with ELL, ESL, or multilingual learners
- Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with colleagues, families, and support staff
- Knowledge of current ESL teaching strategies and language acquisition methodologies
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, culturally responsive classroom environment
Your key responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging lessons tailored to ELL students’ language acquisition needs
- Deliver instruction using evidence-based ESL methodologies
- Collaborate with grade-level teachers and specialists to modify materials and support diverse learners
- Monitor student progress, conduct assessments, and adjust teaching strategies to individual learning levels
- Communicate consistently with families regarding student progress and program goals
- Participate in professional development to stay current with the latest in ELL education
