Make a lasting impact supporting students and schools as a dedicated Social Worker on a contract basis in the greater Granite City area. In this role, you'll bring your expertise and compassion to foster a supportive environment and advocate for the well-being of children and families.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Current licensure as a Social Worker in Illinois
• Previous experience in an educational, school, or youth-centered setting preferred
• Strong communication, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and outside agencies
• Knowledge of special education processes and relevant state and federal regulations is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students with emotional, behavioral, or academic concerns
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support positive outcomes
• Assist in crisis situations and support students’ social-emotional learning
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings as needed
