Power BI Developer

Job TitleTechnical Qualifications5+ years of hands-on skills in building reports, dashboards, scorecards and reports using Power BI. 5+ years of business intelligence, data warehouse, and data architecture experience. Familiarity with development methodologies. 5+ years of experience and a deep technical knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Azure development tools. 2+ years of experience and a technical knowledge with Power BI Report Server Administration. 4+ years of experience with advanced MDX and DAX expressions. 2+ years of experience with data modeling with Power Query and Power Pivot. Strong PL/SQL development experience with the ability to write complex and nested SQL queries. Experience with Azure dataflows. Experience using source control software such as TFS. Experience using defect tracking software such as VSTS.General QualificationsExperience working in a software development environment. Clear, logical, and effective verbal/written communication skills. Clearly demonstrated sense of urgency and bias for action. Ability to work well under pressure and independently. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical material. Takes ownership of problems and develops sound solutions. Demonstrates sound analytical and diagnostic skills dealing with issues that are not readily defined and/or conflict with available information. Has the ability to reach sound decisions quickly. Familiarity with visual design concepts for dashboards is a strong plus. Demonstrated knowledge in P&C insurance systems and processes is a strong plus.Education RequirementsBS in computer science or equivalent.
