Controller

We are currently recruting for a Controller for one of our top clients in Chandler, AZ.This role will lead corporate accounting, financial reporting, consolidations, SOX compliance, and accounting transformation efforts while building and developing a high-performing accounting organization. This is a hybrid position, with 4 days on-site at their Chandler HQ, and one day remote. Job Description: Lead Corporate Accounting and Consolidations with future oversight of operational accounting and tax. Lead corporate accounting and financial reporting functions. Own internal controls, ICFR, and SOX compliance efforts. Address existing SOX deficiencies and remediation efforts. Support quarterly reviews, annual audit, earnings cycles, and Audit Committee activities. Oversee accounting governance, policies, and procedures across the organization. Drive accounting transformation, standardization, centralization, and automation initiatives. Partner with the VP of Retail Accounting, who focuses on operational accounting. Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting organization. Assess organizational structure and build out the team as needed. Operate with a high degree of autonomy. Required Skills: CPA required. Significant public company accounting leadership experience. Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and SOX compliance. Proven experience leading accounting transformation and automation initiatives. Experience managing multi-location organizations. Retail, dealership, powersports, automotive, RV, or related industry experience preferred. Multi-entity experience strongly preferred. Experience partnering with Audit Committees and external auditors. #J-18808-Ljbffr
