Trauma Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Regular 10;12 Pay Rate: $106.70 - $115.50

This facility is seeking a Trauma Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Practice Setting: Level Two Trauma Center

Types of Cases: Adult trauma and critical care patients; trauma service management, admissions, discharges, and patient monitoring

Required Procedures: Central venous catheter insertion, arterial line insertion, chest tube insertion and removal, cervical spine clearance, fracture and dislocation reductions, laceration repair, incision and drainage, wound debridement, burn management, drain removal, and suture removal

Licensure Required: Active California Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license; California Furnishing Number for Nurse Practitioners; California Controlled Substance Education Course for Physician Assistants; Drug Enforcement Administration registration

Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated Credentialing Time Frame: Within 15-30 days of receipt of FULLY completed application

Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or American Nurses Credentialing Center certification
