CT/X-Ray Technologist

Schedule

4-10 hours per day, Monday to Friday; 40 hours per week with rotation of weekends and call.

Contract length: 13 weeks; Guaranteed hours: 40

Requirements

• Required Credential: R.T.(R)(ARRT)
• Preferred Experience: 1 year experience as a CT technologist

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with approved techniques and standards.
• Produce emergent and routine diagnostic images using fixed and portable X-ray equipment.
• Produce routine and emergent diagnostic images in the CT room.
• Adjust exposure settings for proper image acquisition and patient positioning.
• Minimize radiation exposure while ensuring optimal imaging quality.
• Process images in PACS for the Radiologist and document exams accurately.
• Assist patients with contrast media administration for CT exams.
• Involved in quality control concerning equipment and ensuring safety for patients.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
