Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre-Op and PACU/Recovery Unit Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30), Friday to Sunday. Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in our combined Pre-Op and PACU/Recovery Unit. This role requires proficiency in EPIC and experience in pre-operative and post-anesthesia care. Our unit is known for a busy schedule with a variety of surgical specialties. Responsibilities Provide exceptional nursing care in both Pre-Op and PACU settings. Administer medications and monitor patients pre and post-surgery. Perform patient assessments and manage care through recovery. Obtain operative and procedural consent and ensure patient education. Assist with and respond to critical situations, ensuring safety protocols. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in ER, ICU, or PACU. Active RN License in California. ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS certifications required. Previous charge experience preferred. Proficient in EPIC charting system. Why ARMStaffing?
