Maintenance Tech II

Description The Maintenance Tech II performs work in connection with the operation, maintenance, and security of building, grounds, and facilities in order to ensure efficient plant operation. A Day In The Life Might Include Performing routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs for resident units and community spaces, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, flooring, and roofing tasks. Responding promptly to work orders and maintenance requests while completing projects within established timelines, budgets, and priorities. Operating and maintaining a variety of maintenance equipment, tools, and company vehicles; ensure tools, supplies, and work areas remain safe, clean, and organized. Assisting with unit refurbishments, furniture assembly/moves, installations, and general upkeep such as HVAC filter changes, lighting repairs, and fixture replacements. Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with residents, team members, contractors, and vendors while following all safety policies and regulatory requirements. May be on call in case of an emergency. To Be Successful In The Role, You Would Have 1-2 years of experience in a related field of building maintenance or construction, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Certification, license or equivalent as required under state and/or local regulation to operate or repair certain equipment in a technical field such as HVAC, building trades or building utilities program preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Working Hours Full-time. Monday to Friday. 11AM to 7PM. Pay Range $23-25.50, depending on experience.
