How you'll make an impact in this role

• Measure vital signs, interview patients, prepare exam rooms, and assist providers or RNs with clinical treatments and patient care.
• Document provider-patient encounters, list diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions, and transcribe lab, radiology, and medication orders.
• Perform core office duties including answering phones, maintaining patient records, filing, and managing daily administrative tasks.
• Maintain a clean, orderly clinical environment and manage inventory by ordering and stocking necessary medical supplies.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education OR experience, if applicable.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• one year of front medical office experience
• Lab experience
