General Summary: This position involves partnering with DriveTime and Carvana to assign qualifying accounts for repossession, resulting in reversing a car loan to resell and monitoring transportation. The role requires attention to detail, timeliness, and leveraging multiple systems to accomplish tasks. Essential Job Functions Complete a thorough review of delinquent accounts before creating an order for repossession Review unwinds paperwork submitted to ensure 100% accuracy while partnering with the DriveTime dealership to return documents and make any necessary updates Once recovered, coordinate the transportation between the repossession vendor and dealership Utilize sound judgment when necessary to have the drop location updated by the dealership Partner with the DriveTime dealership to complete vehicle inspection Undo loans, calculate and assist in processing refunds owed to customers in a timely manner Assist management in reviewing vehicle damages for escalation Send documentation to customers to outline the unwind process and the impacts to the customer Work within our servicing platform as system of record for customer information and payment schedules as well as other systems to assign and monitor recovery efforts Assign and communicate status updates on Carvana assignments to the appropriate point of contact Perform other related duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Clear, concise and professional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable with legal jargon and ability to identify legal risks based on defined process and procedures Strong time management and organizational skills, and ability to maintain a consistent and positive demeanor in a fast‑paced work environment Professional and persuasive communication skills Ability to prioritize and multi‑task to ensure the achievement of assigned performance objectives Ability to effectively apply professional acumen and communication skills to favorably resolve issues escalated from internal and external customers Ability to drive departmental compliance with FDCPA requirements Knowledge of collection policies and procedures, including skip tracing and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and local state repossession law Self‑motivated with strong decision‑making capabilities; ability to self‑start Ability to work in an accurate, detail‑oriented and highly productive manner Work Experience / Education High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification Experience with Microsoft Office such as Excel, Outlook and Word 2+years of experience in loss mitigation, collections, and/or financial services; administrative or data entry experience preferred Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in business or related field may be used as a proxy for experience Physical Requirements Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 75% of the time Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Requires visual acuity and manual dexterity to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer Frequently communicate with internal and external customers; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations Possible moving objects up to 20pounds Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) plan Company‑paid life insurance policy Short‑term and long‑term disability coverage Tuition reimbursement Wellness program with self‑guided coaching, incentives, and discounts on medical premiums In‑house gym, ping‑pong table, and other recreational facilities Paid time off, including holidays and wellness days Equal Opportunity Employer DriveTime is a drug‑free, tobacco‑free workplace and an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Itlearn360
