As an Unarmed Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control and alarm response, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming, secure environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri07:00 AM - 07:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and shipping/receiving areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation. Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns and site activity. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
