Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Iowa state physical therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience providing outpatient physical therapy and performing 60-minute evaluations. Clinical documentation skills including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with clinic and regulatory guidelines. Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and modify treatment plans and to delegate/direct discipline-specific therapy services. Adherence to state practice act, professional code of conduct, and completion of required continuing education to maintain licensure. Experience supervising or precepting students preferred.
