MFV Partners is an early-stage Deep Tech VC fund based in the San Francisco Bay Area. At MFV, we back promising deep tech founders across areas like Quantum Computing, Robotics & Automation, AI Infrastructure, EV/Battery/ Energy, Health devices, and Computational Chemistry/Bio. Our portfolio includes category leaders like PsiQuantum (optical quantum computing), Agility Robotics (Humanoid Robot), Sun Mobility (Battery Swap for EV), Chef Robotics (Food Robotics), and Rescale (High-Performance Computing). Role Description This is an on-site full-time role as a Pre-Seed Investor at MFV Partners in our Chicago Office. As an Investor, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks, including sourcing investment prospects, market research, conducting due diligence, analyzing investment opportunities, and assisting with portfolio management. This role is a partner track opportunity with generous carried interest and market compensation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering or Sciences Experience in working with formation-stage entrepreneurs Investment or startup operating experience in deep tech Keen interest and curiosity in emerging technology areas Strong analytical and research skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
