Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and develop individualized therapy plans aimed at helping them achieve their personal goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Draw upon evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily activities
• Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely alongside occupational, physical, and speech therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, holistic treatment
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide guidance on therapy techniques to empower patients and caregivers for ongoing progress at home
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as needed to ensure patients effectively meet their goals

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement and support for continued education or post-graduate certifications

Licensure and Certification

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
